IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO HAVE A CUSTOMER ACCOUNT TO ORDER ON WWW.TAOREETHNIC.COM

THE INFORMATION COMMUNICATED TO TAORÉ IN THE CONTEXT OF OPENING HIS CUSTOMER ACCOUNT OR DURING EACH OF HIS ORDERS MUST BE COMPLETE, ACCURATE, AND UP TO DATE.

TAORÉ RESERVES THE RIGHT NOT TO FOLLOW UP ON AN ORDER IF IT DOES NOT COME FROM A CUSTOMER MEETING THE CRITERIA SET ABOVE.

ONLY THE PRODUCTS LISTED ON WWW.TAOREETHNIC.COM ON THE DAY OF ITS CONSULTATION BY THE CUSTOMER ARE OFFERED FOR SALE. 

THE OFFERS OF PRODUCTS AND PRICES ARE VALID, WITHIN THE LIMITS OF AVAILABLE STOCKS, AS LONG AS THEY ARE VISIBLE ON THE SITE.

THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PRODUCTS ARE PRESENTED ON THE SITE IN EACH PRODUCT SHEET.

IV.PRICES

THE PRODUCTS REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF TAORÉ UNTIL THE PRICE IS PAID IN FULL.

THE PRICES ARE INDICATED IN EUROS INCLUDING VAT. THEY TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE FRENCH VAT, APPLICABLE ON THE DAY OF THE ORDER. IF THE VAT RATE WERE TO CHANGE, THESE CHANGES WOULD BE REFLECTED IN THE PRICE OF THE ITEMS. 

TAORÉ RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE ITS PRICES AT ANY TIME. HOWEVER, THESE PRICES CANNOT BE MODIFIED ONCE THE ORDER IS VALIDATED. TAORÉ IS COMMITTED TO DOING ITS BEST TO ENSURE THAT THE INFORMATION (INCLUDING AVAILABILITY), DESCRIPTIONS, AND PRICES ARE ACCURATE.

IN THE EVENT THAT THE PRODUCTS DISPLAYED ON THE SITE ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE OR FOR SALE AT THE TIME OF SENDING THE ORDER, TAORÉ WILL COMMUNICATE WITHIN 30 WORKING DAYS FROM THE DAY FOLLOWING THE ORDER, THE POSSIBLE UNAVAILABILITY OF THE ORDERED PRODUCTS AND WILL PROCEED TO REFUND THE AMOUNTS PAID FOR THE UNAVAILABLE PRODUCTS TO THE CUSTOMER.

THE TAORÉ GIFT CARD IS VALID FOR 1 YEAR FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE.
YOU CAN SEND THE GIFT CARD BY EMAIL OR PRINT IT TO GIVE IT TO THE PERSON OF YOUR CHOICE. 

HOW TO USE MY TAORÉ GIFT CARD? 

  • THE TAORÉ GIFT CARD WORKS LIKE A DISCOUNT CODE. TO USE IT, GO TO THE SITE WWW.TAOREETHNIC.COM AND ADD TO THE CART THE PRODUCTS YOU WISH TO PURCHASE. AT THE TIME OF PAYMENT, ENTER THE GIFT CARD CODE IN THE FIELD PROVIDED FOR THIS PURPOSE.
  • IT CAN BE USED FOR DIFFERENT ORDERS PROVIDED THERE IS A BALANCE LEFT ON THE CARD.
  • IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO USE HIS GIFT CARD TO PURCHASE ANOTHER ONE.
  • IT CAN BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH A DISCOUNT CODE. 
  • THE CUSTOMER CANNOT CHECK THE BALANCE OF HIS GIFT CARD HIMSELF. HE CAN ASK TRAORÉ, BY EMAIL (INFO@TAOREETHNIC.COM) OR THROUGH OUR FORM, TO CHECK THE REMAINING BALANCE.

SHIPPING FEES AND TAXES

  • THE TAORÉ GIFT CARD IS DEDUCTED FROM THE TOTAL OF THE FINAL ORDER, WHICH INCLUDES SHIPPING FEES AND TAXES.

PURCHASE 

  • THE GIFT CARD CANNOT BE RELOADED.
  • ONLY THE CUSTOMER CAN SEE THE FULL CODE OF THEIR GIFT CARD.
  • IF THE CUSTOMER HAS LOST THEIR GIFT CARD, THEY CAN CLICK ON "RESEND THE GIFT CARD" FROM THEIR ORDER CONFIRMATION EMAIL. 
  • IF THE BALANCE AVAILABLE ON THE GIFT CARD IS GREATER THAN OR EQUAL TO THE TOTAL OF THE ORDER, THE CUSTOMER CAN CLICK ON "COMPLETE THE ORDER". THE REMAINING BALANCE CAN BE USED FOR ANOTHER ORDER. 
  • IF THE BALANCE AVAILABLE ON THE GIFT CARD IS LESS THAN THE TOTAL OF THE ORDER, THE CUSTOMER IS INVITED TO CHOOSE A SECOND PAYMENT METHOD FOR THE BALANCE BEFORE PLACING THE ORDER.

REFUND

  • IF THE CUSTOMER USED A GIFT CARD TO PAY FOR THEIR ORDER, THE REFUND WILL BE CREDITED TO THAT GIFT CARD.
  • IF THE REFUND ONLY CONCERNS A PART OF AN ORDER THAT WAS PAID WITH A GIFT CARD AND OTHER PAYMENT METHODS, THE REFUND AMOUNT WILL BE CREDITED TO EACH PAYMENT METHOD.

VII.PAYMENT

THE CUSTOMER GUARANTEES TO TAORÉ THAT THEY HAVE THE NECESSARY AUTHORIZATIONS TO USE THE PAYMENT METHOD THEY WILL HAVE CHOSEN WHEN REGISTERING THEIR ORDER. 

THE FULL PAYMENT MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF ORDERING, AMOUNTS PAID CANNOT BE CONSIDERED AS DEPOSITS OR ADVANCES AND NO CASH ON DELIVERY WILL BE ACCEPTED.

FOR PAYMENTS BY CREDIT CARD, THE CUSTOMER MUST BE THE HOLDER OF THE CREDIT CARD USED. THEY ACCESS A DEDICATED SPACE PROVIDED BY A BANKING ESTABLISHMENT, WHICH ENSURES THE SECURITY AND RECORDING OF THE PAYMENT ORDER.

THE AMOUNT DUE BY THE CUSTOMER IS THE AMOUNT IN EUROS INDICATED AT THE TIME OF ORDER CONFIRMATION.

WHEN PURCHASING ON WWW.TAOREETHNIC.COM YOUR BANK DETAILS ARE ENCRYPTED USING SSL TECHNOLOGY (SECURE SOCKET LAYER) VIA PAYPAL, APPLE PAY OR STRIPE

FOR DELIVERY OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION, THE CUSTOMER WILL HAVE TO PAY CUSTOMS DUTIES OR OTHER TAXES DUE AT THE TIME OF IMPORTING THE PRODUCTS INTO THE DELIVERY LOCATION COUNTRY. THE RELATED FORMALITIES ARE ALSO THE EXCLUSIVE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER.

IN ANY CASE, TAORÉ RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY ORDER OR DELIVERY FOR "A LEGITIMATE REASON" AND IN PARTICULAR IN CASE OF DISPUTE RELATING TO THE PAYMENT OF A PREVIOUS ORDER, REFUSAL OF BANK AUTHORIZATION DURING ONLINE PAYMENT, UNAVAILABILITY OF THE PRODUCT, ABUSIVE REQUEST FROM THE CUSTOMER, PRESUMPTION OF IMPOSSIBILITY FOR THE CUSTOMER TO CONTRACT, MANIFEST INTENT ON THE PART OF THE CUSTOMER TO HARM TAORÉ OR FOR ANY OTHER REASON THAT TAORÉ RESERVES THE RIGHT TO EXPLAIN TO ITS CUSTOMER. 

THE RESPONSIBILITY OF TAORÉ CANNOT BE ENGAGED IN THIS RESPECT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

VIII.DELIVERY

THE PRODUCTS ARE DELIVERED TO THE ADDRESS INDICATED ON THE ORDER FORM FILLED OUT BY THE CUSTOMER AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE.

NO DELIVERY CAN BE MADE TO A HOTEL ADDRESS OR A POST OFFICE BOX.

THE DELIVERY FEES WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY CALCULATED WHEN VALIDATING THE CART BASED ON THE TOTAL WEIGHT OF THE ORDER AND THE SELECTED DELIVERY METHOD.

THE DELIVERY TIMES INDICATED ON THE SITE ARE GIVEN FOR INDICATIVE PURPOSES AND CORRESPOND TO THE AVERAGE PROCESSING AND DELIVERY TIME.

ANY ORDER PLACED ON WWW.TAOREETHNIC.COM WILL BE PROCESSED WITHIN 1 TO 2 BUSINESS DAYS, EXCLUDING WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.

THE ITEMS ARE DELIVERED WITHIN THE LIMITS OF AVAILABLE STOCK, IN CASE OF UNAVAILABILITY OF AN ORDERED PRODUCT, TAORÉ WILL HONOR THE ORDER FOR THE OTHER PRODUCTS, THE CUSTOMER WILL BE INVOICED ONLY FOR THE SHIPPED PRODUCTS.

ANY MODIFICATION CONCERNING THE DELIVERY ADDRESS MADE BY THE CUSTOMER AFTER THE ORDER HAS BEEN PLACED MAY RESULT IN AN EXTENSION OF THE DELIVERY TIME.

THE CUSTOMER HAS A PERIOD OF THREE 3 DAYS FROM THE DELIVERY TO FORMULATE ANY RESERVATIONS OR CLAIMS, FOR NON-COMPLIANCE OR APPARENT DEFECTS OF THE DELIVERED PRODUCTS. 

THIS REQUEST MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS AND FORMULATED BY EMAIL TO THE ADDRESS INFO@TAOREETHNIC.COM 

TAORÉ DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY IN CASE OF LOSS OR THEFT DURING TRANSPORT NOT CAUSED BY ITS FAULT.

AFTER THIS PERIOD, THE ITEMS WILL BE DEEMED CONFORMING AND FREE OF ANY APPARENT DEFECT. NO CLAIMS CAN BE VALIDLY PROCESSED BY TAORÉ.  

IF THE ORDER HAS NOT BEEN SHIPPED BY TAORÉ WITHIN A PERIOD OF FOURTEEN 14 DAYS, THE CUSTOMER MAY REQUEST CANCELLATION AND REFUND OF THEIR ORDER BY EMAIL TO THE ADDRESS INFO@TAOREETHNIC.COM

ANY ORDER PLACED ON HTTPS://TAOREETHNIC.COM AND DELIVERED OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION MAY BE SUBJECT TO POSSIBLE TAXES AND CUSTOMS DUTIES IMPOSED WHEN THE PACKAGE ARRIVES AT DESTINATION.

ANY CUSTOMS DUTIES AND POSSIBLE TAXES RELATED TO THE DELIVERY OF AN ITEM ARE THE CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY AND FALL UNDER THEIR SOLE RESPONSIBILITY.

TAORÉ IS NOT OBLIGED TO VERIFY AND INFORM ITS CUSTOMERS ABOUT APPLICABLE CUSTOMS DUTIES AND TAXES. TO KNOW THEM, IT IS THE CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO INQUIRE WITH THE COMPETENT AUTHORITIES OF THE DELIVERY COUNTRY.

IX.RETURNS

ANY REQUEST FOR RETURN, EXCHANGE, OR REFUND WILL BE MADE IN YOUR CUSTOMER ACCOUNT OR VIA OUR FORM.

YOU HAVE A PERIOD OF 20 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF RECEIPT TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE* YOUR ORDER (FULL OR PARTIAL).

IN THE EVENT THAT THE RETURN OF THE DEFECTIVE ITEM IS NOT JUSTIFIED, TAORÉ WILL BE EXEMPT FROM ANY COMPENSATION. 

THE REFUND WILL BE MADE VIA THE INITIAL PAYMENT METHOD OF THE CUSTOMER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND NO LATER THAN 30 DAYS AFTER RECEIPT OF THE MERCHANDISE BY TAORÉ. 

THE CREDIT (A UNIQUE DISCOUNT CODE) WILL BE SENT TO YOU BY EMAIL. YOU CAN USE IT AT THE TIME OF PAYMENT FOR A NEW ORDER. IT WILL BE VALID FOR 1 YEAR FROM THE DATE OF EMAIL SENDING. 

IF THE TOTAL AMOUNT HAS NOT BEEN USED, YOU JUST NEED TO CONTACT TAORÉ VIA OUR FORM AND A NEW DISCOUNT CODE WILL BE GENERATED FOR YOU WITH THE REMAINING AVAILABLE AMOUNT. 

X.WARRANTIES AFTER-SALES SERVICE

REGARDLESS OF ANY COMMERCIAL WARRANTY THAT MAY BE GRANTED BY TAORÉ TO THE CUSTOMER, ALL TAORÉ PRODUCTS BENEFIT FROM THE LEGAL WARRANTY OF CONFORMITY PROVIDED FOR IN ARTICLES L. 211-4 TO L. 211-13 OF THE CONSUMER CODE AND THE LEGAL WARRANTY OF HIDDEN DEFECTS PROVIDED FOR IN ARTICLES 1641 TO 1648 OF THE CIVIL CODE, PROVIDED THAT THE USE HAS BEEN NORMAL AND THAT MAINTENANCE ADVICE HAS BEEN FOLLOWED.

UNDER THESE WARRANTIES, TAORÉ COMMITES TO REFUND THE CUSTOMER FOR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS OR PRODUCTS THAT DO NOT MATCH THEIR ORDER.

TAORÉ OFFERS A WARRANTY COMMERCIAL WITHIN 30 DAYS (SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS TO FOLLOW) FROM THE DATE OF RECEIPT OF THE ORDER.

TO BENEFIT FROM THE WARRANTY, THE CUSTOMER MUST CONTACT TAORÉ'S CUSTOMER SERVICE BY EMAIL AT THIS ADDRESS: INFO@TAOREETHNIC.COM WITHIN 30 DAYS OF RECEIVING THEIR ORDER. 

THE CLAIM WILL BE EFFECTIVE IF IT CONCERNS THE NON COMPLIANCE OF THE DELIVERED PRODUCTS (ORDER PREPARATION ERROR, DAMAGED PRODUCT, QUALITY DEFECT OF A PRODUCT, ETC...)

THE CUSTOMER WILL TAKE CARE DURING THEIR CLAIM WITHIN THE ALLOTTED TIME TO DETAIL THE REASON FOR THEIR CLAIM AND TO SPECIFY THE ORDER NUMBER AND THE PRODUCT(S) CONCERNED.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE PROCEDURE AND DEADLINES STATED ABOVE, THE CUSTOMER WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO MAKE ANY DIRECT CLAIM TO TAORÉ FOR NON-COMPLIANCE OF THE ORDER OR APPARENT DEFECTS IN THE DELIVERED PRODUCTS. 

EXCLUDED FROM THE COMMERCIAL WARRANTY ARE PRODUCTS MODIFIED, REPAIRED, ETC... BY THE CUSTOMER. 

THE COMMERCIAL WARRANTY WILL NOT COVER PRODUCTS RETURNED DAMAGED DURING TRANSPORT OR DUE TO MISUSE.

A PRODUCT RETURNED BY THE CUSTOMER IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS INDICATED BY TAORÉ WILL RESULT, AS THE CASE MAY BE, IN AN EXCHANGE, A REFUND OF THE PURCHASE PRICE, OR A REPAIR.

THE AFTER-SALES SERVICE TAORÉ PROVIDES REPAIRS BEYOND THE WARRANTY PERIOD (UPON ESTIMATE AT THE ADDRESS: SAV@TAOREETHNIC.COM).

XI. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL 

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE L. 121-20 OF THE CONSUMER CODE, THE CUSTOMER HAS A WITHDRAWAL PERIOD OF 14 FULL DAYS FROM THE DATE OF RECEIPT OF THE PACKAGE TO EXERCISE THE RIGHT OF RETURN AND CANCELLATION OF THEIR ORDER.

WHEN THE 14-DAY PERIOD EXPIRES ON A SATURDAY, SUNDAY, PUBLIC HOLIDAY, OR NON-WORKING DAY, IT IS EXTENDED UNTIL THE NEXT WORKING DAY.

BEFORE THE EXPIRATION OF THIS 14-DAY PERIOD, THE CUSTOMER MUST INFORM TAORÉ OF THEIR DECISION TO WITHDRAW BY SENDING AN EMAIL TO: INFO@TAOREETHNIC.COM INCLUDING THE ORDER NUMBER AND STATING THEIR DECISION TO CANCEL THEIR ORDER. 

RETURNED PRODUCTS MUST BE SENT TO TAORÉ IN A SINGLE SHIPMENT. 

TAORÉ RESERVES THE RIGHT NOT TO REFUND AN ORDER IF THE ITEMS ARE RETURNED IN DIFFERENT SHIPMENTS. 

IN THE CASE OF A TOTAL RETURN OF THE ORDER, THE SHIPPING COSTS PAID BY THE CUSTOMER AT THE TIME OF THEIR INITIAL ORDER WILL BE FULLY REFUNDED BY TAORÉ. 

IN THE CASE OF A PARTIAL RETURN OF THE ORDER, THE SHIPPING COSTS REFUNDED BY TRAORÉ WILL BE CALCULATED PRO RATA BASED ON THE WEIGHT OF THE ORDER.

IN THE CASE OF AN ORDER WITH FREE DELIVERY, THE DELIVERY CHARGES CANNOT BE REFUNDED AND WILL REMAIN THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER. 

ITEMS MUST BE RETURNED IN THEIR ORIGINAL CONDITION (ORIGINAL LABELS, ORIGINAL PACKAGING, INVOICE).

TAORÉ IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS LOST OR DAMAGED DURING RETURN SHIPPING. WE RECOMMEND USING A SECURE SHIPPING METHOD WITH A TRACKING NUMBER.

    THE CLIENT MAY HOWEVER OBTAIN, AT THEIR EXPENSE, THEIR PRODUCTS, IN THE CONDITION IN WHICH THEY WERE RETURNED TO TAORÉ. OTHERWISE, TAORÉ MAY RETAIN THE PRODUCTS, IN ADDITION TO THE AMOUNTS ALREADY PAID FOR THEIR ACQUISITION.

    XII.INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

    THE CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGES THAT TAORÉ PRODUCTS AND DISTINCTIVE SIGNS (IMAGES, PHOTOGRAPHS, PACKAGING, PRODUCT NAMES, ETC.) ARE THE EXCLUSIVE PROPERTY OF TAORÉ. 

    THE CLIENT PROHIBITS ANY ACT OF REPRODUCTION OR USE OF THE PRODUCT MODELS, PACKAGING, BRANDS OR DISTINCTIVE SIGNS, INVENTIONS, TECHNIQUES OR KNOW-HOW USED BY TAORÉ, AS WELL AS ANY ACT TENDING TO APPROPRIATE THESE ELEMENTS, WHETHER OR NOT THEY ARE SUBJECT TO PROTECTION BY TAORÉ BY A PATENT, TRADEMARK, REGISTERED DESIGN AND MODEL OR COPYRIGHT.

    XIII.PERSONAL DATA

    TAORÉ COLLECTS A NUMBER OF INFORMATION FOR INTERNAL USE AND NECESSARY FOR ORDER PROCESSING, THEY ARE STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL AND ARE MARKED WITH AN ASTERISK (*) WHEN THEY ARE NECESSARY FOR TAORÉ IN THE CONTEXT OF MANAGING THE CLIENT'S ORDER.

    FOR THE NEEDS OF ITS ACTIVITY, TAORÉ RESERVES THE RIGHT TO COLLECT PERSONAL DATA RELATING TO USERS OF THE SITE, PARTICULARLY THROUGH "COOKIES". THE CONSUMER ACKNOWLEDGES HAVING TAKEN NOTE OF THIS. 

    ANY CLIENT OF THE SITE MAY AT ANY TIME OBJECT TO THE COMMERCIAL USE OF SAID DATA AND ALSO BENEFITS FROM A RIGHT OF ACCESS, RECTIFICATION AND DELETION OF DATA CONCERNING THEM. THE CLIENT MUST INFORM TAORÉ OF THEIR DECISION BY SENDING AN EMAIL CLEARLY STATING THIS DECISION AND JUSTIFYING THEIR IDENTITY TO: INFO@TAOREETHNIC.COM

    XIV.INTEGRALITY OF THE CONTRACT

    THESE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE AND THE ORDER SUMMARY TRANSMITTED TO THE CLIENT FORM A CONTRACTUAL SET AND CONSTITUTE THE ENTIRETY OF THE CONTRACTUAL RELATIONS ENTERED INTO BETWEEN THE PARTIES.

    XV.DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND APPLICABLE LAW 

    THIS CONTRACT AND THE OPERATIONS RESULTING THEREFROM ARE SUBJECT TO FRENCH LAW. THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE WRITTEN IN FRENCH. IN THE EVENT THAT THEY ARE TRANSLATED INTO ONE OR MORE LANGUAGES, ONLY THE FRENCH TEXT SHALL BE CONSIDERED IN THE EVENT OF A DISPUTE.

    IN CASE OF DISPUTE, AN AMICABLE SOLUTION WILL BE SOUGHT BEFORE ANY LEGAL ACTION. AT FAILURE, ALL DISPUTES TO WHICH THIS CONTRACT MAY GIVE RISE, CONCERNING BOTH ITS VALIDITY, INTERPRETATION, EXECUTION, TERMINATION, THEIR CONSEQUENCES AND THEIR FOLLOW-UPS WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE COMPETENT COURT: COMMERCIAL COURT OF LISIEUX Cs 34664 - 11 RUE D'ORIVAL 14104 LISIEUX CEDEX FRANCE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE RULES OF JURISDICTION OF COMMON LAW.
